Now is the Time to Join a Small Group!
Small groups are for everyone! Whether you are new to the area or have been here quite awhile, single, married, young career or retired! Here is a way that you can…
-
Get to know other people in the
congregation
-
Meet others with whom you can be
accountable
-
Grow spiritually
-
Make friends
-
Encourage one another in spiritual growth.
Small Groups are groups of people that meet in homes in our community throughout the week for the purposes of Bible study, prayer, fellowship and care-giving. We have small groups meeting throughout the city and in the surrounding area. You pick the group in which you think you will feel most comfortable. Each home group meeting lasts about an hour and a half.

Our topic is “Fearless”, as the small groups discuss our response to fear. Threats abound…layoffs at work, slowdowns in the economy, flare-ups in the Middle East and upswings in global warming. What if faith, not fear, was the default reaction to threats? Imagine your life wholly untouched by angst. Can you imagine your life without fear? By examining what makes us afraid and drawing closer to God we can abandon those fears. This six week series, with host Max Lucado, will help us explore and find a spiritual solution to fear.
